Lone Hawk Farm on its own is a powerhouse of fresh, organic produce. Freshly picked veggies and flowers are available for sale, or guests can even pick their own. Maintained with clean, quiet, sustainable solar electric tractors and tools, it doesn’t get much more sustainable than Lone Hawk.
When paired with Greens Point Catering’s very own Chef Robert Grant, we’re all in for a true, farm-to-table, Colorado experience. Initially a local, Chef Grant left to study old world French and Spanish lifestyles, recipes, and traditions as well as working for a number of top restaurants from Vegas to Boston and back, during which time he was named one of Boston’s top “30 under 30” by Zagat. Having returned to Colorado in the last few years, Chef has embraced all that it has to offer in the form of local meats, produce, cheeses, and herbs.
As Lone Hawk Farm and Chef Grant know how to produce and best use seasonal produce, each farm dinner will be a thorough representation of the season in flavors and ingredients. Menus are planned from start to finish so that each course compliments the last. With the amount of local sources available to us, substitutes can be made for those of all diets, and -more to the point – they continue to accentuate the flavors of the season and the rest of the menu.
We are so excited to showcase not only all of the local resources that Colorado, (and especially Lone Hawk Farm) have to offer, but also the sheer talent of Chef Grant. Throw in the greenery, lights, views and overall good vibes of Lone Hawk, and it will be a night you won’t forget.
